Woodsterman Takes A Vacation ... Part 2

Hello guys, I didn't know when I was going to get
a chance to post these, but here they are. The internet
speed here yesterday was the slowest I'd ever experienced
anywhere, but this morning it's one of the fastest
anywhere. Someone doing something exotic yesterday

I forgot this great program I have for creating Google Maps.
So lets try that too. We are in Woodland, Washington on the
Columbia River (and I mean ON it). Today we will drive
to Longview and cross the river and get back into Oregon.
Then we'll head west to Astoria and see what that area has
to offer. This is to be a "down the coast" vacation after all.

The Photos are of where we stayed on the Columbia River.
Go Lewis and Clark ...

In my lifetime I had never seen ships like these traveling down
a river ... wow! Most of these pictures where taken while
leaning against the motorhome.

I hope to share more down the road ... only the internet speed
will tell. Hope to share the Oregon coast later .....

  1. Looks beautiful. Enjoy your vacation. And make sure to avoid serial killers and Big Foot.

  2. Snarky, I'll do my best, but they're everywhere.

  3. I love the pics, Odie! Snarky's right, the scenery does look beautiful. I hope you have a most relax-filled and enjoyable vacation to destress from all the chaos in life.

  4. I'll stop downloading "Hottest Chicks Ever Nominated to the Supreme Court." That should free up a lot of bandwidth so your speeds will improve.

  5. Thanks Teresa, More vacation pics to come. I took many today. I'll download them in the early AM when less traffic is on the internet.

  6. innominatus, chicks is chicks and dykes is dykes ... now get off the internet ...

  7. Oooo, looks like you are having WAY too much fun!

  8. Wow, what amazingly clear photos! :)

  9. Thank you Lola, you found the old man's funny blog I see.

  10. Just beautiful! Looks like you had a great time.

Put it here ... I can't wait to read it. I have the Captcha turned OFF but blogger insists it be there. You should be able to bypass it.
