NewsBusted 10/08/13 ~ NewsBusters.org

Well all good things must come to an end.
Headed back home to finish my winterizing
chores. Ah, but first a woodworking store
in Reno is having a sale on bowl turning
blanks. I'll have to check that out on my way
out of town.

Enjoy NewsBusted below. It took about 15
minutes to embed the darn thing ... Great WIFI.

  2. Odie,
How much winterizing do you have to do?

Even if NewsBusted broadcast 7 days a week, only a tiny bit of today's madness could be related. Sheesh.

  3. AOW, things like cleaning the chimney, remove pine needles from the valleys, clean the garage so Mrs. Woodstermn's car will fit, and get the motorhome to Auburn where it's warmer.

Obummer Care? It will bring America to its knees.

  5. Yep, all good things must come to an end. Winterizing must be a lot of work in your part of the country. Even had some cool nites down here in Dixie. I miss my woodworking sometimes---although all I made was indian smoking pipes and sassafras hiking sticks. Guess that gives you something to do on those cold winter days, especially if you are snowbound. I can recall being snowbound only once in my life when I lived in the valley in southern CA and my wife and I went up into the High Serrias to the east of Porterville. Miss the old gal something awful at times---especially when those memories flood in. While I'm thinking about it, have you ever worked with black walnut---man that is some fine wood, but damn hard to find.

  6. Sandee, all three are good reasons to distrust obugnut.

  7. Ron, I've been turning black walnut bowls for quite some time. I still have some on hand.

  8. Ron,
Odie does BEAUTIFUL work with black walnut. A few years ago, he made a black walnut "vase" for us.

Put it here ... I can't wait to read it. I have the Captcha turned OFF but blogger insists it be there. You should be able to bypass it.
