It is the poor who habitually elect Democrats---
yet they are still
POOR
POOR
"You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves."

I wonder how long it will take to add Phoenix, Houston and Albuquerque to this list if we don't stop illegal immigration and prevent amnesty for those already here...
ReplyDeletePoor? Naw, rich with entitlments and crime.
ReplyDeleteThe money the government does not take away from you to give to them, they take from you usually at gunpoint.
Born Again, the answer to your question is mere minutes!
ReplyDeleteChristopher, theft is theft !
ReplyDeleteChicago isn't on there, I'm surprised, it's beginning to look like detroit to me.
ReplyDeleteI hope all your shows are going well, Odie.
People need to wake up and realize you don't get out of poverty with handouts but with hard work.
ReplyDeleteLibs do a helluva job of "fixin" cities. Maybe, if they wanted to destroy a city, they would actually fix it since they try and fix things using their a$$ess instead of their brains?
ReplyDeleteLibs like to tout Abe Lincoln, but they sure don't listen to his message.
ReplyDeleteMaybe we should "Spread the Wealth"
ReplyDeleteOdie,
ReplyDeleteInteresting data point: Richard Riordan (R) presided over Los Angeles before it broke. It is now presided over by Tony "We Clean Your Toilets" Villa-Rigosa now and clearly that great metropolis is slouching towards Gomorrah. (Well, he is the mayor at least; he does not seem to do much work, preferring to vacation most of the time.)
Bunni, This survey is 4 years old. I'm sure Obama's home district is right up there.
ReplyDeleteKristin, the takers just keep taking. If we stop "giving", they might wish to seek work.
ReplyDeleteTeresa, the one thing I've always noticed is the libs like to finance their "great ideas" with OUR money.
ReplyDeleteOpie, 150 years ago the word was out on the libs.
ReplyDeleteCutiepie (all in pink at your blog), You're completely right in thinking that's what the libs propose next.
ReplyDeleteTWP, I'm sure Los Angeles is on it's way to being on this list ... isn't that why we all left?
