We had a dog pound dog named Buddy that did it too. He was a 120 pound Heinz 57, maybe Bernese Mountain and Boder Collie cross, black and white brockle legs. He'd smile when you'd come home or if you'd say his name in a gruff, excited tone. He was so big he'd scare the crap out of someone who didn't know him when he'd smile, which came in handy a couple of times. But he was really the sweetest dog we've ever owned. The pound said the previous owners got rid of him because he killed chickens, but in over ten years he never showed a bit of aggression towards any other critter, man or beast. I think some people make up an excuse to get rid of their dog. Maybe it makes them feel better, I don't know. The night Buddy died he died in my arms. The only dog I've had that happen with.
Sorry about being so windy, but there are a lot of great memories wrapped up in that big, lovable, goofy old dog.
1. I'll take that funny looking watermelon. 2. Haha. The dog always lets the cat take the blame? 3. That's a tired bird. 4. That is cute. :) 5. Haha! Good one! :) Thank you, Odie. You all be safe and God bless.
Put it here ... I can't wait to read it. I have the Captcha turned OFF but blogger insists it be there. You should be able to bypass it.
