DeleteI wouldn't exactly call the option "free world." It may be less socialist and less tyrannical, but nobody is yet suggesting abolishing the Fed, the income tax, 90% of the federal government, the immoral taxation of property, the government monopoly schools, etc. Yes, I'd still prefer no Communism, but let's not kid ourselves with terms like "freedom." That vanished in the US a LONG TIME AGO.

The only way we're ever going to make a u-turn and head back the other direction....well...lets just say millions are going to need to be spent on rope with tidy little knots and loops on the ends. Or as Grandpa used to say about communists...go short on rope and long on trees.
