Since no camera footage is available in the senate committee room, my guess is that he was getting pounded by a senator. Prove me wrong

DeleteExcept the German national who was doing the pounding filmed it. That's the footage going around. I don't doubt he's used that room before and after that event for similar situations even likely with his boss, but the one that he got caught doing was with a German guy.
