  1. When I was in the Navy and stationed 26 miles outside of Athens Greece ('68-'69), the drink of choice at the beach was Ripple. I think they sold Boone's Farm but Ripple was less than $3.00 a case. I guess that still immunizes me.

  2. I drank Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill when I was 15; we got some guy in the neighborhood to buy it for us. So, I think Welby, MD is correct because I hardly ever get sick.

  4. Boone's Farm, Thunderbird, Ripple, MD 2020, Manneschewitz, we didn't care. When you're in high school and trying to be the worst you can be, you drink what you have.

These kids today would be arrested and sent to a detention facility were they to be caught now doing the things we did in the early 70s.

Most small towns in Kansas (population under 1,000) shared a law enforcement officer with neighboring towns, and the one we shared didn't think it was a good idea to engage in high-speed chases because he knew that chases got people killed.

Put it here ... I can't wait to read it. I have the Captcha turned OFF but blogger insists it be there. You should be able to bypass it.
