#2- Acorn Woodpecker and one of its many 'granaries'. They like old fenceposts too. Even the pioneers marveled at their work and work ethic. They're amazing creatures.
We're doing our part at the family ranch to maintain habitat for these guys so they might not destroy someone's home. See how we are?
Elmo, he did go next door, and that guy put twirling reflectors on his wall and it worked. No woodpeckers were injured during the writing of this comment.
Those big plastic owls used to protect gardens work pretty good too, especially when they're hanging from a string and can move with the breeze. So life-like.
That cat on the television is our little Squeaker. She does this all the time, but our television is on a cabinet so she can't knock it over. Love them all.
Had to chuckle at the poor dog in the last one. Can't think how many times we've done similar to our kitties... All good, thank you, Odie. You all be safe and God bless.
Put it here ... I can't wait to read it. I have the Captcha turned OFF but blogger insists it be there. You should be able to bypass it.

Elmo, I had one try my house. He didn't like cement board.
DeleteYeah, those 'boards' can be tough on a guy's beak. :-)
DeleteHe probably went over to your neighbor's house and destroyed his siding. See how you are? :-O
