Just a quick one... in Hebrew the word for FOOD is "okhel" (the kh is the guttural back of the throat sound). The verb is the the same. So, at least for a singular male speaking, "I eat food" is "Ani (I) ochel ochel".
As I recall, in French, "W" is pronounce doobla V, or something like that. I may be wrong, because most of what I remember in French are the swear words.
