  2. Have a wonderful day, Odie. I will toast you later with a icy cold martini with three olives.

  3. Mmmmmm Adrienne, Back at you. Here's to Extra Dry!

  4. Dry? In my world a martini is an ice cold (straight from the freezer) glass of gin with some olives (or pickled mushrooms or pepperoncini, or a twist, or all of the preceding - of course you'll need a bigger glass.) Vermouth? I may glance at the bottle at the liquor store. That's close enough.

  5. Adrienne, would you make me a martini ? Dang. Ok, I'll try it myself.

  6. Adrienne, we think alike. I don't even know where the vermouth is when the little woman gave me with the shaker and vermouth 30 years ago. LOL. I don't think I ever opened it. My drink of choice is Beefeater (it's the taste) on the rocks with 3 olives. I do however, when I make a Martini, I will put ice and gin in the shaker. I make enough for two and pour the second in a glass and refrigerate until it's time. Both with three olives. In a bar it's "Beefeater on the rocks with a bouquet of olives." They ALWAYS know what I mean.

I love sharing Gin stories with you!

  7. Kid, once you acquire a taste for gin, it's all good.

Put it here ... I can't wait to read it. I have the Captcha turned OFF but blogger insists it be there. You should be able to bypass it.
