The answer to the question posed about the owls legs is "whatever age I was that time I accidentally blasted an endangered burrowing owl with a 12 guage" It's a long story. His legs showed as he rolled over and over. And over. I was about 17. I'm hoping the statute of limitations is up! I like owls and we have a bunch of them around here. I try to leave them alone.
