DeleteWhy should we end property tax for people over 65? Because they didn't save enough money? I'm 70, I can and do pay my property taxes and I'd be seriously pissed if my kids had to pay more taxes because some 65 year old fool down the block was the usual toxic mix of stupid and lazy and couldn't pay his taxes.

iOpener, congratulations on your preparedness. Sounds like it's OK with you what government does with your money. Some of us would like to see that end and no ones children would have to foot the bill for anyone else's debt.
