DeleteIt is a sad but true fact of life that working in Aerospace/Defense as I do we see top Military brass come through the revolving door into executive positions in industry. I started telling friends some years ago that if these people are examples of top military leadership that we are in a lot of trouble. Meanwhile, the veterans we hire out of the enlisted ranks are some of our best people. There is a very real dichotomy going on. I work with one guy who went to Afghanistan earlier in the war six weeks out of Army basic with an MOS of Infantry, one stripe, and an M4. He's one of the best people I know. He can handle problems.

DeleteMy brother tried to convince me that all the equipment left behind was Trump's fault. All I had to do was check MSN (as if!). Or Google it.

Or the in-law cousin who saw nothing wrong with truck loads of armed Taliban going around in pickup trucks.
