Nice :) There are some youtubes showing how to train hummers so you can hand feed them the nectar.
I haven't tried but the closest I got was when standing in my yard like a statue in Arizona watering the yard with a hose, a hummer came by and took a drink from the water stream. Lots of them out there in the southwest and we have some here in Cincinnati too as we have a feeder out for them and see them come by.

Kid, we use them for bait for our mosquitoes here.
