Friday Fun Stuff . . . .

Hi boys and girls, not only did I have a show last weekend,
but my Grandson gave Grandma and Grampa a very ugly
intestinal flu. The last 24 hours have been hell. I hope by
the time you read this all is back to normal.

As I was writing this I realized it would be posted on 9/11

NEVER FORGET!

  1. A baloney sammich is what I'd make I tell ya. Since you are familiar with my ongoing battle against Nibbler General Jeremiah Puffcheeks and his bushy-tailed infantrymen, I got a good chuckle from the Smart car wreckage.

    NEVER FORGET

  3. Curmudgeon, Gamo makes a great pellet gun. It even comes with a scope.

  4. WHT, I know this brings horrific visions and memories to you. I can only imagine what you feel. We are all thinking of you this day.

    NEVER FORGET!

  5. The Social Security money has been blown on welfare for illegal immigrants (wet backs and anchor babies).

As to the events of September 11, 2001, America has a very short memory. And it will happen next time with nuclear weapons. Time for everyone to move to Truckee...

  7. I'll have a turkey sandwich on sourdough, mayo, mustard, lettuce and tomato. A dill pickle on the side.

I hope you and your wife are feeling fine this morning.

    I will never forget.

I will never forget who did this.

    I will not submit.

Have a fabulous day Odie. ☺

  9. Hope you feel better. It's scary being sick when you know OCare is out there lurking.

To answer the question - peanut butter.

As for Social Security, it's always been a scam. The odds were most people on the list for benefits would have never gotten them because retirement (back in '35) was 65 and life expectancy was 62. Housewives didn't get it, no disability, nada. It's actually a second income tax without deductions or exemptions (the word, "tax", appears in the original Social Security Act 37 times).

When Democrats realized what a cash cow it was for votes, they larded on any benefit they could imagine; Republicans who tried to remind people the system wasn't set up for it were demagogued. What really did it in was 2 things that added 10 years to life expectancy - the introduction of antibiotics for the public after WWII (doctors hadn't initially trusted them) and people giving up smoking.

The Demos used whatever "trust fund" there was to pay for the Great Society. So, yeah, it really is welfare now.

  10. I can't even begin to forget about today. And I don't even want to think about what's going to be left of social security when I'm going to need it.

Way to put a bummer on a day!

  11. I rarely eat sandwiches. That would be one of those days.
Hope you and the mate are improving.

  12. edutcher, All correct, but I'd like to see it privatized. I would also like Washington to stop effing with it. They screwed it up and we did pay into it.

Put it here ... I can't wait to read it. I have the Captcha turned OFF but blogger insists it be there. You should be able to bypass it.
