  2. When we were kids, it was like Memorial Day or Veterans Day. Yeah, I realize 9/11 is the last couple of generations' thing, but Pearl changed the world.

  3. The real infamy is that Roosevelt knew and allowed the attack to happen so he could get the US into WWII. Ever wonder why the aircraft carriers were not in port?

    1. The aircraft carriers were already (for the most part) out delivering aircraft to different bases in preparation for war. It was a miracle the Japanese never discovered any of them out with so little protection.

  4. 84 years to the day ago, we got hit. Lead to a world war, finding a new energy source to use for war and mostly peace. Lead to many new inventions that were never heard of and set the United States on the mission of going to the moon and back safely. We need to never forget this day in history. We must remember the men and women whom won the war for the human race. It lead to many changes in the world.

  5. There are only 12 survivor members still alive today, from that day. All are over 100.

This is the first year none of them were able to return for the ceremonies (other than for covid. When no ceremony was held).

Put it here ... I can't wait to read it. I have the Captcha turned OFF but blogger insists it be there. You should be able to bypass it.
