Thanks for the photo of the Linesman. My Dad repaired the telephone lines when I was a kid. MANY Christmases my mother got us up at 5 am to share part of Christmas with Dad before he had to leave for work. We were groggy and not as enthusiastic as we would be later. He was fearful of heights, but determined to do it, for the increase in pay (he'd previously worked as a janitor). I found some ornaments similar to that one, and will buy it for next year, in his memory.
