The Spanish from Spain vs. South of the Border, is like comparing a crystal glass to a plastic cup. To me, it's how fingernails on a chalkboard bothers some people. If I never heard anyone from South of the Border speak their Hickspanick again, it would be too soon.
Shame on you Walgreens for trying to stop people from trying to steal your merchandise what is next jewelry stores keeping diamonds and gold in locked glass cases. Oh yeah it's been a thing since like forever. WTF
I am old enough to remember a time when our elected representation was not allowed to use our tax money to lie to US about how good of a job they are doing. I personally think it is past time to make that the normal again.
There is a peculiar arrogance in using a late-night platform to lecture the audience on their personal moral failings. When a host forgets that their primary job is to provide levity rather than to act as the conscience of the nation, they lose the very audience that once made them relevant.
At the core of both party platforms is a fundamental lack of respect for the individual. Whether it is through excessive regulation, surveillance, or mandates, both parties view the citizenry not as free agents, but as assets to be managed and resources to be extracted.
It is hard to find the humor in a performance that feels like it was written by a focus group. When the "jokes" are indistinguishable from corporate press releases or state-sponsored talking points, the comedian ceases to be a jester and becomes a mouthpiece for the status quo.
