DeleteI wasn't aware SCUS judges had "terms". I thought they were appointed for life (which ought to be curtailed). As for Mrs Barrett, does she stray any more or less than Gorsuch or Kavanaugh?
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's in context that a Chief Justice of The US Supreme Court is elected by SCOTUS and then serves a one year term as Chief Justice. The rest are called Associate Justices.
Deletebut next time someone says utters the phrase "we have a representative government", this is yet another good example to counter with because US Supreme Court Judges are unelected bureaucrats.
