#9) My mother had a 72 Nova with 3 on the tree. Drivers Ed had automatics; so, I had to learn manual on my mom's Nova. I don't remember if the gas cap was behind the plate or not on her car.

DeleteI don't do Valentine's day as I work my arse off and build stuff at my expense to make wifey's life easier 24/7. However, I woke up at 4.30AM to go to work and she'd bought me a bottle of a local (ish) limited edition scotch. That contrasts with the blokes at supermarkets later that day sucking up to wives that have told them earlier that they better get something.

DeleteAs a nurse, I have never given a mother an injection meant for a child in the boob, nor anyplace else... The mother not reacting to that is mystifying! Boobs are sensitive! Maybe time for that old gal to give up nursing...

DeleteI remember the big stink when self serve was beginning to take at the pump. My mother would always go to the same station where they would pump for her. They were also the mechanics that worked on our cars. And I wondered why she did not want me to take auto shop in high school...
