In 77 I bought an 11 year old 289 Mustang coupe that had a broken odometer stuck at 96k miles for $600. I tuned it up and replaced the broken odometer gear and sold it for a thousand dollars. I added $1400 to buy a 71 Cuda with a 440. The only options it had was the lower Hp 440 and posi 391 rear. It was another high mileage car and I sold it when gas hit 80 cents a gallon. It got 9 mpg and I could not afford to keep fuel in it.

DeleteIn 1977 I bought a new D150 short bed step side with factory chrome wheel and a wooden bed. It was sweet. A 318 and tourkflight transmission. It had 150 miles when I sold it. I regretted it

..my little sister couldn't ride her and she was the original animal whisperer, she got two bulls who hated each other to stand together while she dressed them down for their ant-social behavior and could not get on top of that horse!
