Not to toot my horn too loudly but I have O-Negative blood. It is the type of blood that puts those who have it in the "Universal doner" category. That is, anyone can use O-Neg blood without any negative results. It is often called "Baby blood" because newborn babies sometimes need a transfusion and O-Neg blood is used since no prior Rh factor blood test is needed. Over the years, I try to donate blood every three months. The Red Cross is always looking for people with O-Neg blood in order to save more babies...
