WRT 1, no, sweetheart, you DO have the obligation to not only cite your sources but to link them. It may make you feel oh-so-superior, like the twits on Linux who just say, "rtfm"" when someone asks a question, but you're just showing how phony you are.

PS Don't dis Liz. Liz led the Empire and its Commonwealth with class, it was Labour that destroyed it.
Unlike reputable electrical safety agencies like UL, ETL, and others, the FDA does ZERO INDEPENDENT TESTING of anything it approves. They rely SOLELY on test data provided by the applicant (bigPharma, etc.). And unlike UL, etc, the FDA takes ZERO RESPONSIBILITY for mistaken approval, etc. When the halogen torchiere lamps began setting drapes on fire back in the 90s, UL paid half the costs for safety upgrades to the lamps. ZERO taxpayer funds.
