Some kid that works a junkyard cobbled body panels that fit into a working car. Back in the 70's when I was in high school I had a buddy whose dad owned the car graveyard. He took the front end of a mid 70's Cadillac and cut it in half where he fabricated the rest of the cab out of the hood. He then took an early 60's Impala and cut it off at the rear door, got rid of the trunk lid and turned it into a truck bed. He had to move the rear wheel well to get it to fit on a C10 truck frame. It had a Caddy big block and all of the creature comforts a mid 70's Caddy could offer going back to a low geared rear truck bed. It was the El Dorino. It lasted him through high school.
Odie, I lost track of him. He had a Classic Dodge forum that he sold for big bucks in the late 90's. He left to go see the world and I guess he is still looking.
Put it here ... I can't wait to read it. I have the Captcha turned OFF but blogger insists it be there. You should be able to bypass it.
