ReplyDeleteThe truckers should know that the Ukraine has leveled most of the Russian facilities that distill and provide diesel to most of Europe.
Now we're providing the Euroweenies with the diesel to transport to Zelenskyy the materiel he needs to bomb the Russian diesel refineries.
Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face.
In addition to which we now have only about 1/3rd the refineries we had 20 years ago - the people who love writing new regulations that kill American industry, the green idiots who truly believe cow farts (more than theirs) affects the climate, and charismatic communists like Governor Nusance have ruined our gas/oil/diesel output.
Did we shut down those 2/3 of refineries since January? Did all those new regulations become laws in the last 8 months?

We started a war in Iran that drove the price of oil over $100 per barrel.
Ukraine fighting a war with Russia is making the problem worse.

We are no longer helping Ukraine in any way. Are Ukrainians supposed to put their riffles down because gas is too expensive in Wyoming?

DeleteDon't want to drive because fuel is too expensive then park your truck. Deliberately block a fuel station for ANY reason your rig needs to to be towed and impounded. where it will cost you a couple grand or more to get it back. You can protest all you want...as long as it doesn't affect anyone else. Cross that line the you should pay....dearly.

DeleteI watched the price of gasoline jump by 60 cents yesterday. Today, I see that oil is somewhere around $90 and falling. I also note that when oil was in the $80 range gas prices were incredibly slow in falling. So, the question is: why? Oil goes higher, gas prices immediately jump--a lot. Oil goes lower, and prices take weeks to drop for gasoline. It's not difficult to believe that there's some collusion going on.
