Dear Club DD-214:
Back in my day the Vietnam War was ragging on.
I was a proud member of the Army in Pleiku at
that time.
I want to give all of my bothers and sisters a
heart felt thank you. Go out and get a free
dinner at one the pleases who believe in such
things. Maybe light a candle for those are
not able to.
GOD BLESS THE U.S.A.
Thank you for your service and for continuing the fight against evil in our country by your posts!

It's not easy being a dumbass, but I guess I needed to be.
Thank you for your consistently, outstanding blog.
Tree Mike, I'm wishing you a "Welcome Home" because we're Buddies.
DeleteMissed the free meals offered by many fine eateries. I spent the morning celebrating at the local high school ceremonies and then went home to get a bite to eat and spent the afternoon at the nursing home celebrating with the remainder of WWII/Korean war vets and now a few VN vets.
ReplyDeleteAnon, Thank for giving so much of yourself!
