As we approach the upcoming election season, it’s inspiring to see members of our community stepping up to serve in ways that truly matter. One such individual is Woodsterman, a dedicated veteran who will be working at the local voting center from October 26th to November 5th. His commitment to ensuring that every voice is heard reflects not only his love for our country but also his unwavering belief in the democratic process.
Woodsterman embodies the spirit of service, not just in his time as a military member but also in his role as a community advocate. Working at the voting center is not merely a job for him; it’s a mission. He understands the sacrifices made by those who fought for our freedoms and recognizes that participating in elections is a vital way to honor that legacy. His passion for democracy is contagious, and it reminds us all of the importance of civic engagement.
As we navigate these challenging times, having veterans like Woodsterman at the forefront of our voting efforts brings a sense of reassurance. They understand the value of unity and the power of every single vote. Woodsterman’s presence at the voting center will not only help ensure a smooth process for voters but will also serve as a source of encouragement for those who may feel disheartened about the political climate.
During his time at the center, Woodsterman will be engaging with voters, answering questions, and providing guidance. His warm demeanor and commitment to helping others are qualities that will enhance the experience for everyone who walks through those doors. He represents the best of us—someone who puts the needs of the community above his own.
As we gear up for this critical time, let’s take a page from Woodsterman’s book. Whether you volunteer at a voting center, educate yourself on the issues, or simply encourage friends and family to make their voices heard, every action counts. This election is our chance to stand together and uphold the values we hold dear.
Let’s celebrate our veterans like Woodsterman who continue to serve our nation in meaningful ways. Together, we can ensure that democracy thrives, one vote at a time.
My state requires minimum of 2 Dem's and 2 Rep's at all polls. When I started they had almost no republicans due to when you got a drivers license they automatically registered you as a Dem. Well our Supreme Court disabused them of that notion. But we could chat with the people, ask about their kids, weather, sports but under no circumstances could you speak one word about the people on any part of the ballot or any hint of anything to do with the election. We also have a current book divided by dem's and rep's. When Trump was running in the primary in '16 we had lines at 6am around three sides of the block. When they found out they were dem's and could not vote. Hence the Supreme Court getting involved. Anywhere near how your voting works?
I pledge allegiance to the REPUBLIC! It's a Republic people! A unique experiment not tried before or since. Unique means America is the only country ever in the entire history of the would to have a republican form of government. It was created here. Our Founding Fathers rejected the idea of democracy. Americans should embrace this and our chests swell with pride that we are unique.
I must add my thanks to you for both your military service and also the service you are doing to help ensure that this election is both fair and accurate. It takes a great person to be able to say that they have done both. Your service is the kind that should have a medal given for such a commitment to the country. Well done, hero, well done indeed.

Put it here ... I can't wait to read it. I have the Captcha turned OFF but blogger insists it be there. You should be able to bypass it.

ReplyDeleteedutcher, me too.
DeleteThanks for working the polls.
ReplyDeleteHere’s to hoping you don’t have some wild tales to tell afterwards.
Anon, so far so good.

Skip, ah shucks, thanks. The good news is we're being mobbed early.

DeleteAnon, here it's one each, but in no way do anything but observe. It's not forced here either.
DeleteJeff/URL, it is a thing some call it a democracy. The forefathers considered it "Mob Rule". We all know it's a Republic.
DeleteOne of the most brutal ads you’ve ever seen against a politician. Wow. Just watch
