#10 I remember those along with Erector Sets and Lincoln Logs. It would seem we stopped teaching our children the beauty of simplicity a long time ago.
Slot tracks that size were pro level and run by businesses. The cars were much larger and the shoes threw sparks. I never had any but used to go to Highway Hobby to watch. It’s been 58 years but I’d know the aroma in a heartbeat.
1. They were good ones, too. 2. I have no idea. 3. I did not know that. 4. Boy howdy! 5. That's a FEMA bridge. 6. I believe it! 7. Never saw one, but I heard about thos slot car things. 8. Hahahahaha. 9. Heh 10. Oh, I loved those growing up. I had more than would fit in THAT can. I had lincoln logs, too; but my brothers got the erector sets. Thanks, Odie. You all be safe and God bless.
Put it here ... I can't wait to read it. I have the Captcha turned OFF but blogger insists it be there. You should be able to bypass it.

ReplyDeleteEdward, I also had the three sets but no slot cars.
