Imagine being Austin’s parents. You’re sitting in a funeral home, picking out a casket for your teenage boy, and your phone buzzes with a news alert: “Family of accused killer raises half a million, says son is the real victim.” You scroll down and see photos of the other family smiling on the courthouse steps while your son’s face is an afterthought in a two-sentence paragraph buried under a headline about systemic injustice. The cruelty isn’t just in the killing; it’s in the way the world decided one boy’s life was worth a media crusade and the other was worth a GoFundMe footnote.
As a 71 year old man, I don't have words to Adequately express just how disappointed I am in Where America IS today. The society that was the backdrop of My Three Sons was the reality I grew up in. DaFuq happened??
I have a blind friend who was adopted from Ethiopia. He's been through college here and has many black friends who are also from Africa originally. He told me once that ALL OF THEM agree that American blacks are the most racist people they have ever encountered.
Put it here ... I can't wait to read it. I have the Captcha turned OFF but blogger insists it be there. You should be able to bypass it.
