DeleteVirginia's current situation is a prime example of the consequences of indifference. Virginia's election map by county is most assuredly red, with the population centers disproportionately turning the state purple. Sadly, a significant number of conservative voexpressed a ters simply decided to sit out the last election. As a result, the democrats now have a bulletproof majority in the House of Delegates. The majority in the Senate is less, but is still an uphill battle. The Governor was portrayed as a "Moderate" in spite of clearly evident marketing. The Lt Governor is just a leftist loon, and the Attorney General managed to eke out a win in spite of well publicized text conversation in which he expressed the death of his political opponent's children in their mother's arms. This complacency will ensure that we get to experience the full measure of the Democrat approach to our governance. It's going to suck, and it will take generations to turn around the damage we are about to endure.
