Whats missing? Well the rotary phone isn’t plugged into anything for one.

Delete#3) What is missing? Well, I don't see a line from the phone to the wall. Of course, the phone book is also missing; back then the phone book was usually beneath the phone.

DeleteIn our house, while I was growing up, there were no ashtrays anywhere.

John, We had ashtrays, phone books, and telephone cords.
DeleteThe notebook that you wrote the phone numbers of friends, the doctor, school etc in. We had one that was plastic and under the phone, if you pressed a button the drawer would open.
