  1. Spanking instills fear, not respect. Respect is earned.

    2. Then your father did a lot of other things to earn your respect.

  2. Spanking teaches you to respect the hand. I definitely like number two

  3. My cousin was in the hospital giving birth to her second kid. Dad was watching the first kid. About two years old. At breakfast the kid took a glass of milk and poured it on the floor. Dad told him, "we don't waste food and make messes here. Don't do that again." He poured some more milk. The kid looked him in the eye and poured it out. Dad pulled him out of the high chair and tanned his hide but good. He put him back in the chair and poured another glass of milk. After the kid quit crying, he drank it. The next two days he was there, he was never more than a step away from dad. The FEAR fostered a deep RESPECT. And that developed into LOVE.

    1. If all you do is beat a kid, he won't love or respect you. Again, it's earned by positive conduct.

Put it here ... I can't wait to read it. I have the Captcha turned OFF but blogger insists it be there. You should be able to bypass it.
