    I like the idea of limiting the amount of time politicians are allowed to stay in office, and get rid of the starting pay for someone to make laws for the country which is now around $174,000 which is heads above what the vast majority of the county gets, it should be based on what the average pay across all jobs which The Bureau of Labor Statistics states as $ 1,280 per week. That alone would stop a lot of the slugs from trying. And tie their raises to Cost of living at the same scale as Social Security, And for good measure hang one or two of them a month just to keep them in line

      Agree with Woodsterman.
      If you cap pay at $1280 per week you will get millionaires and billionaires who do not care about money or people that are not smart enough to get more than $1280 a week.
      I want freaking geniuses writing laws and a hole lot of control to see what they do!

    I wonder what caliber Florida dad used. Shotgun versus pistol would be tense.

    I don't live in suburbia; I can shot out/through any of my doors without worrying about hitting a neighbor. For your average track home, that would be a bit concerning.

    Kudos to dad. He seems to have handled the situation very well.

    Term limits and age limits for ALL government positions including President, SCOTUS, House, Senate at the federal and state level.
    Enough with the ancient people on both parties running the country!
