When I lived in San Diego in the 90's, on the commute to work; I can't remember the radio station, but Tim Conway would call in from time to time. Out of the blue, he would just call and "do his thing". It was always a great surprise and he would ramble on, hilarious... GB
The clock repair guy or any variation of his Mr. Wiggins old guy character, the sea captain, the one where Corman is a general and Conway mans the cannon, and of course the elephant story, all comedy masterpieces!
The only thing in my opinion that comes close was that idiot Clouseau in his various Pink Panther movies, but of course those were not live.
