      edutcher, I can relate to both. My Blonde hates the backup screens, and I've chased my trash cans all over the neighborhood.

    I bought a used dryer that same color $85. It has a knob (timer), heat selection, and a start button. Manufactured before everything was made with planned obsolescence.
