Slot cars were never as cool as electric trains.

Delete#7 & #10) I had the slot cars track but not that size and only two lanes. I also had the tinker toy set, erector set and lincoln logs.

Delete#10 I remember those along with Erector Sets and Lincoln Logs. It would seem we stopped teaching our children the beauty of simplicity a long time ago.

DeleteSlot tracks that size were pro level and run by businesses. The cars were much larger and the shoes threw sparks. I never had any but used to go to Highway Hobby to watch. It’s been 58 years but I’d know the aroma in a heartbeat.

I had lincoln logs, too; but my brothers got the erector sets.
