Definitely need to bring auto shop back. Before you pick up a wrench, you have to learn how it works and then think about why it is not working as it should. Today's 'mechanics' plug in a computer and read the codes, they don't learn to think. Al_in_Ottawa
So what y'all are saying...is we need to go back to the fundamentals in school. Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic; an hour of each one. Oh and throw in an hour of civics, an hour for lunch/recess and an hour for shop. Split the school in half; one half takes Home Ec for the semester while the other half takes shop. Then the next semester you flip-flop. That should be the ONLY decree that comes out of the federal education agency.
Put it here ... I can't wait to read it. I have the Captcha turned OFF but blogger insists it be there. You should be able to bypass it.
