That is Marble Falls granite around that faucet, I'd recognize it anywhere. Go look at Marble Falls on Google Maps and just northwest of the town you'll see where the granite dome is still being cut up. That's where the granite that was used in the Texas State Capitol building came from.

The hot water.... I turned off my water heater in June. I still don't need it. Water comes into the house from a pipe buried 2 feet deep. Running just the "cold" water, it's hotter than body temp when I draw a bath... day or night. Sheesh....
