DeleteI have a copy of federal income tax rates, standard deduction and brackets from 1913 to early 2000's. From 1936 to 1981 top rate was 70% or above. From 1951-1963 it was above 90%! Working folks in 1913 thought they would never have to pay income tax, boy were the workers wrong on that one. Posted by JC
