  1. Why should Americans have to prove their worth on a global stage? It's like a job interview where the rest of the world gets to sit in the hot seat first. Time to turn up the heat on foreign competition

  2. Government programs are the customer service equivalent of a broken vending machine—no matter how many times you hit the button, the candy bar’s not coming out.

  4. American jobs should be as protected as a gated community. Keep the riff-raff out and let the homeowners enjoy the security

  6. Government efficiency is an oxymoron invented by bureaucrats who’ve never had to meet a payroll or worry about customers choosing someone better

    1. Jeff, "Government efficiency is an oxymoron." It would be laughable if it weren't so true.

  9. 50 YEAR MORTGAGES: If this administration doesn't get on the economy and hard in the next year, they are going to get torched in the midterms. In the end, people care about the kitchen table, not what goes on a world away.

  13. About 10ys ago, my state began allowing private businesses to do DMV stuff. Haven't been in DMV state office since. About 10m instead of 2 to 4 hours. Easily worth the extra $10. Of course the state offices are still open but at least the employees can do what they do best which is nothing. Ben Tover
