Just for reference. Our population has gone up 85X since the nation was founded. The size of the US House of Representatives has increased ONLY 7.4X. YES, we have LOST that much representation, in a nation that supposed to be a "republic." REPRESENTATION is the KEY to a republic. Thanks to a 1910 law, the US House can NEVER get bigger, no matter how many more millions of people we add. If we were to have the representation level we STARTED with...back when there was NO income tax, vastly smaller government, virtually no debt, etc. we would need a House that was 11,400 members. This is NOT sustainable...and it is NOT representation. THAT is what we should be discussing while they distract us with the "redistricting" BS.
