There Goes The Neighborhood

While in the Bay Area on a special mission ( read
a couple of posts previous ) I spotted this eyesore.
This is a very upscale area that has the misfortune
of having to look at this place.

Oh wait ... this is the San Francisco Bay Area.
To their credit, no one came out and threatened
me while I was taking this picture. Of course if they had
they might have become my new hood ornament. Check
Opus #6's (Opie) post ... (LINK)

Update:

I forgot to mention (for some reason Brooke reminded me). Stanford Children's Hospital has valet parking during the
week. So on Friday I thought I'd use it. The kid, when we were leaving, delivered my pick-up to the exit. He held the door for
me, and as I was getting in he said, "I love this pick up". I
thanked him and said, "I didn't think any one down here knew what it was." We both got a good chuckle.

  1. I'll bet no one threatened you because they assumed you were a huge Obama fan taking pics for your photo album or something.

Unless you have a bunch of 'right wing' bumper stickers, of course...

  2. Brooke, I never use bumper stickers. I mostly voice my opinion in the voting booth and here of course.

  3. Here in my state, MS, a deep red state except in the delta (cotten-pickin) area I see no Obama offices and few BO yard signs. Noticed, however that you didn't leave the safety of your car while taking the photos---maybe a wise step.

  4. I find liberals to be the most hateful bunch breathing. They don't see it that way, but the rest of us do.

    Romney for president.

Have a terrific day Odie. :)

  5. Ron, Traffic didn't allow me to do anything other than snap these two photos on the move.

  6. Here in NE OH, the O HQs are a lot harder to find than R/R.

May it be thus on Election Day.

  7. Edutcher, I hope it's hard to find Obama after NOvember.

  8. He'll still be around for a couple of months, just pray he doesn't take advantage of any "flexibility".

  9. Looks like a decidedly quiet office. Nobody registering to vote 3 or 4 times, eh?

  10. I spent the weekend visiting the town of Lewisburg, PA. Saw 2 Democrat offices in the area (no Republican). It's a college town (Bucknell Univ) so not surprised.

  11. Edutcher, That's when he could be most dangerous.

  12. Velcro, come to think of it, I didn't see a living soul there.

Put it here ... I can't wait to read it. I have the Captcha turned OFF but blogger insists it be there. You should be able to bypass it.
