How weird is this ???

A.   Did you know that the word "race car" spelled backward still spells "race car"?

B.   Did you know that "eat" is the only word that if you take the 1st letter move it to the last, it spells its past tense "ate"?

C.   And have you noticed that if you rearrange the letters in "illegal immigrants" and add just a few more letters, it spells out: "Go home you free-loading, benefit-grabbing, kid-producing, violent, non-English speaking ass holes and take those other hairy-faced, sandal-wearing, bomb-making, goat-loving, raggedy-ass bastards with you"?

  3. Not weird Odie just the geneius of the English language.

Also might explain why when English is translated into any other language one short sentence turns into 3-4 paragraphs.

  5. I had noticed that, Odie, but I'm glad you did too. I was starting to think I was special.

  6. One reason that there are often two words for nearly the same thing in English is that the word for when the object is outdoors is Ango-Saxon peasant in origin while the other is Norman French aristocratic, hence Cow becomes Beef, while Pig becomes Pork. Such domestic niceties also lay behind the differences between "trash", "rubbish" and "garbage" which mean slightly different things, I used to know the differences but have forgotten though I'm sure that I could find out again.

  8. And I wondered as to the meaning of existance - now, I don't have to sign on with that Ashram that was kind of creepin' me out by what I was told we were expected to wear. Thanks for saving my ass!

  11. Right, I thought so myself, but since posting this I'm finding we need to keep spreading the word.

Put it here ... I can't wait to read it. I have the Captcha turned OFF but blogger insists it be there. You should be able to bypass it.
